The mission of the Advanced Materials and Manufacturing for Energy and Health (AMMEH) Lab is to innovate materials science and transform manufacturing technology to address grand societal challenges in energy and health. Our research focuses on developing innovative multi-materials additive manufacturing and smart/autonomous manufacturing methods for functional materials and devices. In particular, our lab has established a unique and transformative atoms-to-systems engineering approach capable of integrating a diverse range of nanoscale building blocks into micro/macroscale systems. Leveraging these versatile manufacturing methods, my lab has been developing innovative materials and systems to improve energy and environmental sustainability as well as wearable/implantable devices for personalized healthcare.
