The Advanced Manufacturing for Energy and Health (AMEH) Lab focuses on cutting-edge research on creating transformative manufacturing methods (e.g. additive manufacturing and scalable nanomanufacturing) for multi-functional and self-sustainable devices and systems, with broad applications in energy conversion and storage, sensing, flexible/wearable electronics, and health monitoring for both humans and industrial systems.

We integrate an “Atomic to System Engineering” approach to close the gap between basic research and real-world applications in order to constantly change the world and improve our living standard. Prof. Zhang’s lab has been sponsored by prestigious funding awards from U.S. Department of Energy, National Science Foundation and industry.

Our lab always has openings for Postdoc, Graduate Students and Undergraduate Students. Please email your application to Prof. Zhang.
